After a succesful 2018 rodeo, Omaha River City Rodeo will return September 27-28, 2019.

Perfectly timed on the last weekend for contestants to qualify for the National Finals Rodeo, the best athletes in the sport will compete in what fans have dubbed – the National Finals of the North.

The Omaha River City Rodeo is an annual celebration of the region’s heritage that benefits and educates families and youth.

Omaha River City Rodeo will return to the CHI Health Center Omaha September 27-28, 2019. Two nights of high caliber PRCA rodeo will feature all 7 rodeo events including steer wrestling, team roping and bull riding. World champion cowboys will be competing at the rodeo for their official entry into the National Finals Rodeo.

Also returning and adding to the thrill-packed entertainment package are the announcer of the year, clown of the year, sound man of the year and more. Fans can expect non-stop action including rock music, fast-paced competion and family entertainment.

Omaha River City Rodeo is made up of a group of dedicated rodeo volunteers who value the celebration of our western heritage through the sport of rodeo and the community impact it brings. The group came together in 2018 in a volunteer capacity only to bring the excitement of professional rodeo action back to Omaha.
